Branding & Game Design for a Blind Wine Tasting Game, Sommify.

Creating an educational and fun tasting game for wine drinkers of all levels requires a lot of passion, knowledge, and some trial and error. Pair the brilliant idea with a successful Kickstarter campaign, and you've got Sommify™. When I was approached by Jessica and Conner, Sommify™ co-creators, to design the official, sellable product, the mechanics of the game had been worked through but needed finessing.

In order to film a promotional commercial and for the game to be sale ready by the 2020 holiday season, it was my task in the summer of 2020 to get the board completed, printed, and have a final product film-ready in a matter of two and a half weeks. I was handed the working prototype, completely revamped the look, and we made the filming deadline. The product went into production weeks later and, to date, Sommify™ has taken off with 3,000 units sold within the first year.
