Dim Sum Life T-Shirt

This is my solution to a design challenge on Sharpen.design.

Mission: Design a Tshirt for a restaurant in Hong Kong

Solution: I used a the layered octagons as the background of the image in order to create something reminiscent of the bagua diagrams.

The text reads "Dim Sum Life" in traditional hanzi. I used traditional characters because that is what is used in Hong Kong (vs. simplified used in Mainland China). I got the idea based on the motto of a modern ramen shop I visited in Tokyo, "No Ramen, No Life."

Disclaimer: the text is possibly incorrect.

Finally, I added the distressed texture to the image to give it a bit more character and make it stand out from a typical restaurant t-shirt.

I purposely did not include a restaurant name thinking that the restaurant would rely heavily on its motto in its marketing.
