Planetary Time Dilation #3

3 of 7

Background Since the release of the movie Interstellar, I have been fascinated with the notion of time dilation. In physics and relativity, time dilation is the difference in the elapsed time as measured by two clocks. It is either due to a relative velocity between them (special relativistic "kinetic" time dilation) or to a difference in gravitational potential between their locations (general relativistic gravitational time dilation). It's my personal opinion and others that time dilation is key to interstellar planetary time travel.

About Series Planetary Time Dilation is a 7 image series depicting gravitational time bending between two points. The lines are rich and deep with color and texture.

Created Using a mix of generative AI, Photoshop, and a Nikon FE Silver
