DiGO
This is arguably the project in which I've made the highest number of sketches. Most likely, as a way of trying to be certain that a blue dot with face on it was really the way to go n_n
The project was the development of the chatbot for DirecTV Latin America, a character that would help users to never miss their shows and help with solving technical or commercial issues over the web or a Whatsapp conversation.
With a client so massive, both, the broad audience and the company stakeholders became a very delicate challenge to overcome. And, since the character would be very ubiquitous and should convive with a very strong brand identity, the trick was to find that one expression that would integrate into the pre-existing communication style.
We followed a process to narrow down the possibilities that consisted on the equalisation of certain parameters of the construction of a character (which you can see attached). This tool provided a great input in terms of expectation and shortens the list of things to try during the conceptualisation process.
The result was this home-assistant-styled blue button, in a way, derived from the DirecTV logo which in addition to being the face towards customer service, it would also appear on digital and printed advertisement promoting its existence n_n
