The Client

ThisWay is a life mentor service that helps people that are feeling lost in life and point them in the right direction. The main platform that ThisWay was going to be used on, is as an app, website (desktop & mobile), as well as possible stationary printing.

The Direction

From the original brief, I knew that I had to create a brand design that was simple, in order for it to be used on both small and large applications, but also have a theme that could be used playfully to give the brand its own character and stand out. I decided to combine both a compass and a confused path to create the icon. The path indicates the confused journey that the person is on in life and the compass signifies the mentor showing them the way forward.
