The Planner - A Fair Slice?

I was commissioned by The Planner to illustrate an article about the UK government's levelling-up agenda. The author discusses how some communities still don't get a "fair slice of the cake", with regional disparities in the UK above those in comparable developed economies.

I came up with a couple of concepts and this one was chosen, reflecting the inequality of investment between Northern "red wall" areas and South East Conservative-voting towns.
