Photoshop CS2 Forever

Welcome to another one of my "what if" icon explorations, inspired by a recent tweet calling out the beauty of old Adobe Creative Suite icons. Ever since CS3 brought the simplistic "periodic table" iconography, I've wished Adobe would bring back fun, expressive app icons. But alas, that hasn't happened.

This is a modern take on the Photoshop CS2 icon, with the colourful quill against a white canvas. Even in the original icon, the canvas was actually remarkably similar to the current round-rect icon shape, so the resemblance should be more than clear.

Where do you think Adobe should be heading with their icons?
