GCSE Vets Website

As part of my GCSE coursework, I was tasked to create a website of my choice. With having a passion for animals, I created a Vets website. Within the website, hyperlinks were used, such as the Vets Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts, to follow them. A google search box was also included, allowing the user to search from the site. At the bottom of the home page, a newsletter subscription box was added to allow the user to get daily newsletter about the Vets. The Pet advice page allows for the user to get advice on a range of pets from cats and dogs to reptiles. Requesting an appointment was made easy with a short questionnaire which allowed for the user to say details about the appointment that they want to book as well as what kind of pet it is for. Within Pet Services, any service which the company offers is showcased here. On the Find A Practice page, a Google Maps feature was added to allow the user to see were the company is based. Finally a static login system was added to allow the user to keep their details saved and login to the site. If further investigated, this would be implemented in full. The logo for the site was created within LogoMaker, collage of animals made on Fireworks along with other aspects of the website and the site itself was created on Dreamweaver.
