Hug, Squeeze and Stroke

Project overview:
Over the last few months of lockdown and self-isolation, we all learned that human contact is a need, not a want. Once the pandemic is over, there is a risk that we will be afraid of touch more than ever before. Therefore, it is necessary to communicate its importance and find alternatives. Hug, Squeeze and Stroke project with its sensory tools that fit human body shapes, aims to reawaken tactile experiences and substitute physicality of touch through the visual sensory pleasures. It intends to take these challenging times on, and help people to fight anxiety and fulfil their need for physical touch.
