Neckties Through Time Spread

This magazine spread was designed for a UNC student newspaper. I studied the progression of neckwear and condensed its history into a magazine spread with illustrations. The man to the far right was highly inspired by Norman Rockwell's artfully and ever so slightly embellished renderings of boys in his magazine covers. I tried for a magazine spread that also functioned as an infographic, bringing the background and text together in a compatible way.
