Come Dance With Us
This project involved creating an ebullient print campaign for a program that combined the metaphor and practice of dance with relationship help and counseling. Learn to dance alone, then learn to dance together. The project was low-budget in both time and money, so creating original photography wasn’t a possibility. I would have loved to do a Joe McNally-inspired dance shoot, but instead I used stock imagery that got the job done nicely. The campaign relied heavily on vibrant color and implied movement of the subjects, bolstered by the amazing motion blur Photoshop technique popularized by Joe Cavazos. Unfortunately, like so many things, the program was forced to shutdown just before launch due to COVID, but the print designs were some of my favorites that I made in 2020.
