Kardias (English: Heart)
The mark is a pearl with a heart in the center. The lettermark is custom, designed for this logo specifically.

It represents the tessera hospitalis (English: a square or cube; a die; a token.). In ancient Greece, Xenia was the concept of hospitality. It was a moral obligation towards foreigners. The tessera hospitalis was a token, which was broken between the host and the guest, when the later parted. Each then took a part and the token served as a symbol of their bond.

Our represantation of this token is a pearl. The idea is that the token, and therefore the bond, holds an important value. In ancient Greece, pearls were dedicated to Aphrodite, the godess of love.
