About the Project

The Travel Blog aims to increase the awareness of the possibilities Georgia has to offer – such as different sightseeing destinations, activities, culture, and spectacular nature.

I have traveled twice to Georgia and have fallen in love with the Georgian nature, culture, and its people. I wanted to increase awareness of Georgia as a unique tourist destination. Tourism is an increasingly important component for Georgia’s economy, and it employed around 158 500 people in 2015.

Being so close to Finland and Scandinavian countries, it is very easy and fast to get there. Yet, many people here in northern Europe are not familiar with the country or the endless possibilities it gives as a vacation destination. I have received a lot of questions and travel trips on social media from people all around Europe.
