Judy & Poppies

A challenge my colleagues and I did was to work on a collage through the month of March - my first thought was 'of course, Judy!' I wanted to do more of an abstract but using organic cut-out shapes to create a multi-layer illustration.
I thought about bringing the aspect of pills into this piece but thought the poppies were fitting with the colour scheme, relatable to Wizard of Oz, as well the subtle hint to opioids from the poppies.
I'd love to explore the way I created this piece with other pop culture legends in future projects.
