We’ve also designed a rich and functional personal profile page for our users to serve multiple goals. The primary goal was to personalize the experience and simplify the use of the website as much as possible.
We've noticed that the most used shipping option on our checkout is the carry-out: either from one of the company stores or from the branch of one of the shipping providers.
Because most users stick to one or two shipping options during their lifetime, we’ve decided to save these user-selected shipping options from the checkout, and allowed to configure them in the personal area sub-page.
One of the long-term goals of the company in the online direction is a complete synchronization and harmonization with much older and more diverse retail.
The first important step on this path was the personal area for the website user, where they can see the history of purchases and car services dating back early 2000s.
