World Map Illustration

This world map of a forgotten island thriving with fantastic and strange animals and beasts took me around 6 months to complete on and off, over 100 hours. As it was basically the first world map I have ever taken this much time and effort to craft, there were a lot of mistakes and learnings that often led me to re-doing entire sections again. (looking at you trees... you were the bane of my existence until I figured out how to draw you quicker!)

This world map is currently inhabited with many animals and several races that live primarily in the trees and caves. No actual civilization yet, however that will soon change once our brave adventurers land and start to explore...

Took over 120 hours over the course of 6-7 months as I learned and decided on the styles that I liked. This was very much a test and learning experience.
