The Tiger Still Stands

I illustrated this last year after the cyclone ‘Amphan’ hit Eastern India namely West Bengal, Odisha and Bangladesh. It was regarded as one of the most destructive cyclones to ever hit the country.
I took up the task of illustrating elements I found from photographs of the disaster to raise hope and spread awareness about the organisations and groups that were helping during the crisis situation.
The Sunderbans and parts of rural Bengal were devastated by the storm. The Sunderbans are exclusively home to the Royal Bengal Tigers so I chose it as the main focus of the poster; the tiger looking up into the skies at the aftermath.
