Excited to share our work with Commonstock.com — a community for investors with a focus on signal over noise.

With so much noise out there, it can be hard to tell what to pay attention to and who to trust. Commonstock connects you to fellow traders, serving up timely, relevant, and trustworthy investment information.

The feed is one of the most important features of the app and the most challenging to get right. Leaning into the principle of signal over noise, we aimed to strike a balance between curation and exploration.

Where we landed is a system for the feed that prioritizes flexibility of arrangement, cadence, and re-usability of feed content. The rationale was to create a system that supports pivots and changes as the feed evolves.
