Pizza Planet Logo Redesign

Here's an oven-hot design to give olive your love to!

This logo, which comes from the pizza place in Toy Story, is reimagined to fit the theme of a modern-day pizzeria as a part of a fun redesign challenge on instagram.

The Brand :

‘Pizza Planet’ is a space-themed family restaurant that is a part of the Disney • Pixar Toy Story franchise. The restaurant is frequently visited by Andy Davis, a major character in the movie franchise, along with his toys.

The Logo :

My approach towards this logo was a bit eccentric. It being a space-themed brand, I thought of a witty wordplay with 'spaced-out', which led me to think of a spaced-out person munching on a pizza (while probably looking for his alien friend). I combined the wild bites of the pizza with the shapes of a spaceship's fuel clouds during its launch. While the rocket is a reference to the galactic theme, the pizza is prominently displayed. The colours, inspired by major fast food places in real life, are warm and inviting, just like a slice of pipin' hot pizza.
