SPIRITS OF THE GARDEN. Spirit of the Moss

Some of the spirits as the Spirit of the Moss have really weird but lovely features in their behaviour. This one lives only in the northern part of a tree, almost always in shadow. As well as the Spirit of the Mushrooms, it also is one of the oldest spirits in the garden. It has blue-moss hair, a wooden long beard and wears a warm colourful sweater. Even though it looks like an old grandpa, there is one detail which will always remind of its youth – that is a small branch with buds on the top of its head. It sprouted when the spirit was a child. But the lifestyle that spirit has doesn‘t let the leaves unfold. Anyway, the Spirit of the Moss is the neatest living-being of the garden. It collects the dried twigs every day and keeps the meadow and the garden clean. Also, it takes care of all kinds of moss that grows on the trees. Thanks to this spirit, the trees never get cold.
