Mental Health Matters Poster

A poster made for a competition.

For this poster I decided to focus on the issues surrounding mental health in order to create a fun, informal yet serious talking piece. It attempts to remove some of the stigma around mental health, and, through the style and imagery, speak to younger audiences.

The background of the poster features repeating text listing a number of mental health issues including everything from the most common to the most serious. Within this repeating pattern is the key message. A custom emoji design is also incorporated featuring the brain and a clearly stressed expression.
