Kurt Cobain

I've been working on a series of crosshatched portraits as of late. This is one of them.

Seeing as this month marked the 20th Anniversary of Cobain's passing, it felt right to pay homage to such an influential figure.

The aesthetic of the final image appears somewhat antiquated, but also original and new– much like how I feel his music still is. Hopefully you pick up on those implied nuances as well.
