Alvey Reels a near-100-year-old fishing tackle manufacturers in Queensland business was set to close doors after the announcement of low sales. They approached us for one last attempt in keeping the doors open through the digital medium before they stopped production altogether.

Since Alvey Reels was a well-known brand, we prioritised accessibility over awareness. We recommended developing a fully functional e-commerce website with Alvey's prominent brand colours and a modern twist to help scale in the future.

Priority was given to having a user-friendly functionality accessible on mobile, easy access to products, and adding how-to videos on products to attract new fishing enthusiasts.

This resulted in Alvey's surviving closure and a bright, modern and user-friendly website with new content and the ease of shopping fishing reels, rods and accessories throughout Australia and entering the US market.

Plus a 23% decrease in bounce rate, 77% monthly revenue increase and a 14% increase in new monthly users.
