Unit 4: Techniques and Processes / Seamus Heaney HomePlace

Unit 4 was an introduction to Weaving and Embroidery with the theme being on Seamus Heaney HomePlace. The aim of this project was creating woven and embroidery pieces to put on display at Seamus Heaney HomePlace with all samples being related or inspired by Heaney's poetry. Throughout this unit, I inspired my work on Heaney's poems 'North' & 'Digging', I experimented with weaving, felting and embroidery.
