Pan American Airways rebrand

Refresh of Pan American Airways' logo as part of student work at Designlab. The task - modernize while keeping the essence of the original.

My target user is a Gen Z female with brand loyalty to: Southwest Airlines, Instagram, Spotify, and Starbucks.

The mark's tilt gives a bit of motion and suggests the globe and the organic shapes give a bit of humanity and comfort. The gradient is bright and fresh - suggesting the lands and sea you'll fly over.
