Mountain Bike E-zine Signup Page

My first challenge from the Daily UI Challenge. I created a signup page for a cycling e-zine. I muted the background images with a green overlay, but I'm not sure if they are still too prominent to distract from the signup form itself. Feedback on this most welcome.
