As the smart home industry is growing, we always keep an eye on it to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and news. This is how we got our design idea for a smart home manager app. The app where users can add their devices and manage everything from the music volume to the home temperature in a couple of taps on the screen.
The left screen on this shot is Home with all the available devices, their status, and statistics. The app allows users to customize their home screen and upload pictures as the background. On the right, there is a climate control screen with extended functionality.
The color palette was chosen with a rising UI design trend in mind - Glassmorphism. That's when the background is subtle, yet visible, and the card shapes have a semi-transparent white outline making it look like a glass edge.
The smart home manager also tracks and shows electricity consumption statistics. With such an app, electricity bills will stop being a surprise and you will learn how to optimize your consumption.
