Natuurlijk Communiceren app - icon

Together with NSDSK (the Dutch foundation for deaf and hard of hearing children) we've created a digital product to guide parents of children with complete or partial deafness through the first couple of years, which are toughest. Parents get a lot of information that is usually difficult to understand, a lot to process and even harder to apply in the day-to-day life of living with their deaf or hard of hearing child.

To accompany the application, we created an app icon to indicate the key elements for the child and their parents: hearing and watching. In a simplified way, it shows the loss of hearing on one side and the eye as a replacement for the lost sense on the other side.
