Natuurlijk Communiceren app - overview

Together with NSDSK (the Dutch foundation for deaf and hard of hearing children) we've created a digital product to guide parents of children with complete or partial deafness through the first couple of years, which are toughest. Parents get a lot of information that is usually difficult to understand, a lot to process and even harder to apply in the day-to-day life of living with their deaf or hard of hearing child.

The iOS and Android apps provide relevant content, personalized on the age and medical condition of the child. The content in the application educates about difficult topics, like how to communicate with the child and applying hearing aids. We blend this content with more lightweight topics such as the best toys for deaf children and fun games to play. The app also educates parents on how to talk about their child's condition with others.
