Poster App Builder

This template-based app is for novice marketers. It is for individuals and teams to feel confident when creating content for their audience. I started by creating an empathy map which helped develop an understanding of the user. These details lead to identifying important features. Because this was a design challenge, I had the constraints of time, resources and data. So I had to make some assumptions. I came up with statements to help express key problem areas. For instance, how might we inspire novice marketers, how might we make users feel more creative, and how might we make this a fun experience. These statements guided me throughout the process. In order to help users stay up to date on design trends I wanted to integrate many resources, for instance; images, icons and textures from well-known design sites. Because I wanted them to bounce ideas off of each other and have fun working together, I added the ability to collaborate and see changes in real-time. And once they are finished with their poster, they can send it directly to the printers.
