Land of the Pure?

ProPakistan, a Pakistan technology and lifestyle blog, held a competition named 'Tassawar e Pakistan' that roughly translates to "The idea of Pakistan".

They gave the local design community the prompt to express what Pakistan and being a Pakistani meant to them using their art form.

This illustration was my submission for the competition. I used Muhammad Ali Jinnah's illustration and the map of Pakistan, decorated/surrounded by local cultural elements and phrases from national songs and anthems.
