Day #05: Messaging Application UI

This was pretty interesting! Considering how much I use messaging applications like Telegram, Whatsapp and Instagram, I've never really paid much attention to their UI, i.e how their text boxes are shaped, how they place their additional feature buttons, and how they display time next to text. This gave me a lot of room to explore how I wanted to present my messaging UI.

I also wanted to add a "Recently contacted" feature, but I thought that it would take up too much space if placed on top, so I placed it at the bottom instead, since messages at the top should be of higher priority. I also made it collapsible in case users felt that it is in the way.

EDIT: thinking about it now, a "Recently Contacted" feature isn't necessary, because users most recent contacts would be shown on top! oops
