Just Can't Wait Until Tomorrow

What a feeling trying your best to fall asleep the night before Christmas. Every fortunate kid getting on their nerves waiting for Santa Claus's visit (Papa Noel here in Spain and an "imaginary pretext" to spend money around the first world). But more than that, really looking forward to opening those presents and being the happiest kid in the universe (until you get bored of those and you want something different).

This pink buddy sneaks into the dining room late at night to get the best present in advance when everybody is asleep. Best night ever!

And that's the story behind this short animation (my longest one so far even when it doesn't look so). I did this exercise to learn more about animation and for improving my After Effects skills. So I spent more time working on this one, taking notes, elaborating an animatic and enjoying the process, sometimes and endless one haha).
