Holiday season 2020: The ideal time to stay cosy and have fun
Aah, Christmas! If you can't say how much I love it from the fact that I start doing my Christmas shopping in October, you might be seriously tipped off when I randomly start singing holidays tunes in the middle of June (true story, and my co-workers usually give me dirty looks when they are forced to hear about snowy fields amidst a heat wave, whops! đŸ˜‚)
The smells, the tastes, the sounds! Even the ugly Christmas sweaters appeal to my holiday soul.
Even though I'm a die-hard fan, I do like to keep it light and cosy, and focus on getting my rest, staying home, cooking, reading, wrapping presents, and getting quality time with my pets and close friends and family.
This is especially true this year, when so many are in danger, have to work overtime to ensure that the rest of us are staying safe, and/or are forced to spent the holidays apart from their families.
Stay safe and celebrate responsibly, my friends! And let's hope that the new year would be a tad less challenging!
