Procreate App Icon 3D Tilde Swoosh™️

Hi Dribbble! What is the first shape what users draw when they try a new brush in Procreate? It’s a Tilde Swoosh!

My took on facelift of Procreate App Logo is a simplified 3D Tilde Swoosh™️.

Design process: After few ideas and sketches and research of current app icons trends, I started to draw in Procreate. The best 'swoosh' I vectorized in Adobe Illustrator and then extruded in Adobe Photoshop into 3D object, which I textured and rendered in Adobe Dimension, and back to Photoshop to polish the render tiny bit. So much fun to see the shapes becoming a materials.

I decided to keep the brand colour palette and mixed all the current Procreate colors into one butter smooth gradient. . Tada! Procreate’s new dress for the new year is ready! What do you think? Pres L for like. ツ
