Wayside Orchard

A brand kit for a friend starting a hobby orchard in northern Michigan.

For him, the land has been a sacred & quiet getaway from the demands of his own day-to-day. He's filled his time there with bee keeping, fruit tree planting, syrup tapping, and hunting, among other things.

The Northern Flicker (the woodpecker depicted here) has been a constant companion of his throughout the work.

It was a blast to create some visual assets, centered around the Flicker, for this project. It stretched me to have to incorporate so many colors, but I'm really pleased with where things ended up!
