Confirmation

Experience of the solution depends upon how we take care of critical things? how we probe the voids? and like this, every building block is important. So curating experiences is an ongoing process. As a user experience designer, why not keep asking critical questions? if we do so we will get to know voids and thus, So what? becomes a habit.

Exploring some critical areas of the functionality. And in that confirmation screens should not be taken lightly. What if you delete some important work files by mistake that you cannot retrieve? And thus these screens are crucial.

So when should we use this to enhance the experience? is the question to ask. There are a few areas like severity, irreversible actions where the consequences of action taken might be disastrous. And to relieve this pain such repercussions should be taken into considerations.

With this, we must be very clear and concise in the message we are providing. There should not be any ambiguity. And help the user to make a decision. It must be like;

- Writing a copy of the action as a question
- What will be the impact of action taken.
- And according to that to craft the appropriate action buttons.

Like this, if we give cognitive and visual cues; it will not give the cog load to the end-user and the experience is enhanced.
