Straight from the production line, vehicles move to the compound where they are held to be despatched. All vehicles are queued and organised by their international markets, vehicle types, docking ports and priority of customer delivery dates.

Once vehicles are ready to despatch, 8 vehicles at time are move to a loading bay and lifted on to a carrier truck.

Compounds can hold over 3000 vehicles. The app give Jaguar Land Rover full visibility are where all the vehicles I real-time, colour co-ordinated by their markets and shapes by their size of car. The system provides history reporting which it pulls data from the companion mobile app which is used to scan and position cars in the compound.
