MMA Monogram | Badge

After designing the monogram for MMA, and to test its optical balance, I created some alternatives in different graphic applications such as this badge.

Since the angle of the monogram's letters are diagonal, we need to make sure the optical center is what we follow to create compositions.

To center optically is different than centering metrically. Hence, trusting in your software just because it tells you something is "centered" it's not good enough. it's the eye that defines the best balance, and that is– optical balance.
