The Japanese Part of Me

My friend Kumiko asked me to design a cover for her book. The Japanese Part of Me is a collection of biographies of prominent Japanese figures that is meant to inspire and provide hope for those who are searching for their self-identity.

I created this cover with a combination of traditional physical watercolor, as well as simulated watercolor in Procreate.
