On /Off button

Understanding the context of the situation is of utmost importance. What situation is demanding and related to it how to integrate response makes design effective. And like this, the decision making peeps in. Because while interacting with the systems we are providing sensory stimulus and thus the cues we are providing affects decision making. So as a problem solver we must think about how to influence the user with the help of data to nudge towards the correct responses to select. With this, we have to provide feedback from the system so that the end-user would get to know what is happening in real-time.
Like this crafting, the solution becomes very subjective to the scenario. Tried designing on/off buttons for the digital panel where the context is to shut the machine functions immediately if malfunctioning happens. The main thing here was to consider the automatic and immediate response to execute. Tried to use fitt's law for the scenario so that the operator could rapidly move towards the action(Off button) and thus increased the size of the target.
