Why I Am A User Experience Designer ( UXD )

On Tuesday, April 24, 2012 I had the distinct pleasure of presenting a 20x20 talk out at Club OBERON in Cambridge, Massachusetts as part of Pecha Kucha Night Boston #26. I took the original theme of my proposed talk to UXPA Boston 2012 — 'Why I Am A User Experience Designer" — and shifted it to a far more interesting exploration that I eventually called 'The 2012 Human eXperience Report'. The slide you see here — as delivered and presented on my old school smart phone mobile device — helped start off my Pecha Kucha presentation with that special rise from an utter sense of failure { I didn't get into the UXPA line-up that year } that I frequently pull off as part of my schtick.
