Apocalyptic California

Today, I woke up startled that I had overslept 2 hours past my normal time—it was already 8:30am and our house was pitch black. No light came through our windows. I soon realized that all of San Francisco was enveloped in darkness, and the sky burned a hazardous orange. And now, 7 hours later, it's still dark. All because California is on fire. All because we AS A HUMAN SPECIES can't get our shit together and accept that climate change is real. What is it going to take? Apocalyptic weather conditions? (Probably not.) Please, try to do your part. And then some more.
