Is cinema dead?
I think cinema was already on its way out with the streaming services becoming the main source of the average person's entertainment. Today I learned via Twitter that the movie Mulan was revamped as a real life motion picture, like Disney has started to do with so many of its animated classics...
It made me feel old lol, I remember learning about upcoming movies in the actual cinema watching the unique trailers made for the big screen preface the movie I was about to enjoy.
I think Covid might of put an actual end to it, maybe future gens won't actually keep the cinema culture alive, maybe there will always be a place for the nostalgics to find an old cinema to go see a movie, but right now I feel the magic is gone...
Like in the song 🎶the day the music died🎶... But for the cinema.
Have a good long weekend 😌
