I wanted to get rid of the original skeuomorphic Blackboard logo and come up with something that fits a little better in terms of style with the desktop application I'm working on.
In addition, I wanted something that relates to how the application is skinned for each school according to the user email extension that is used to login. This will also be used in building the brand identity, something fun yet simple.
