Visual Identity for Sarah Duarte
Sarah's visual identity project revolves around her craft, which are holistic therapy sessions aligned with photography. Its therapy model consists of methods aimed at the physical, mental and spiritual factors of its patients, at the same time that the registration of the therapeutic process is registered in photographs. The concept comes from this moment, photography. The photo shows the reunion of oneself with oneself and visualizes the resolution of internal and external conflicts, and to conceptualize this project, I based myself on the idea taken from Roland Barthes' book "The clear camera" (1980), which reports the author's feeling about a photograph of his late mother. The author talks about what he calls "unitary trait", which is something abstract that defines a person or the image we have of him. This trait can be viewed in many ways and the author sees his mother's in a photograph. From that, in this mourning, he dives into the universe of photography. And from this context, I use the concept of unitary trait in the project. The unitary line is represented graphically by the monogram of the letters S and D, which is drawn from a single line. The same line is used as a support element when applied on an increased scale. The warm and pastel colors are accompanied by a typography with classic and sans serif characteristics, which show the therapist's name around the monogram.
