Adventure Academy

Playing around with a logo for our homeschool this year. We like adventure and this will be an adventure.

Some friends joke with us that we're basically homeschooling public school parents; we like to learn and show our kids the wonder of the world around us. Our hope is that we'll use this unique time to take advantage of time that would normally be spent in the classroom.

The tent and the mountain in its negative space are representative of the big adventures our family enjoys. I played around with adding some school-ish elements to the mark, but it quickly became overwrought and dominant; more literal than aspirational.

Only after submitting this name to the state did I learn — with the help of my well-educated kids — that Adventure Academy is already a thing by ABCMouse. But what do they know?
