Sandman Vol 4 / Cover Art

Work has been slow lately, so I put my creative energy finto re-creating the cover art for one of my favorite graphic novels of all time, Sandman by Neil Gaiman. This style is nothing like the original artwork, which is so busy and exciting (I really love everything about the illustration in this series) but I wanted to create my own version of a dreamscape. Somewhat reminiscent of the the artwork done for Ray Bradbury, one of my favorite sci-fi writers and storytellers.

I may continue this series, or perhaps find another book or author... nothing but time on our hands in the era of Covid.
