Wildfire Awareness Campaign

A school project done in late 2018. I had to choose an issue and campaign for it, create a sort of public service announcement. I chose wildfires, it was on my mind at the time and this is a real issue that affects us today and especially around the time
I did the project.

I wanted to send a powerful message in a single image where the message could be easily understood even with a limited amount of information and from afar.

The colors wrap up the uniformity of the composition and the typography evenly completes the layout.

The matches are a big part of the image. They represent trees. The matches burn, showing the trees burning and being left scorched and ruined.

The matches elude to some of the causes of these fires. Many occur naturally, but some happen through the carelessness of a person.

I branded the organization behind the campaign. Of course, this is a hypothetical company for this project. But you can see the logo above for the Wildfire Association.
