Medieval skyscrapers ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

My memories of San Gimignano, an Italian city in the province of Siena in Tuscany, 39 km south-west of Florence on top of a 334 m hill. The main architectural "highlight" of San Gimignano, of course, are fourteen medieval towers, built by the most noble families, who wanted to emphasize their social position, in the XI-XIII centuries. The height of the tallest medieval โ€œskyscraperโ€ reaches 52 m ๐Ÿคฉ
